Sled hockey is an alternative sport that uses the rules of hockey, but instead of skating the players use a specially designed sled and two short sticks with picks on them to propel themselves across the ice. Several of our Spina Bifida youth participate in the sport and have competed in the U.S. Paralymics in sled hockey. Click on the link below for more information.
